This is by far one if not the best tool I have ever laid my hands on! It does just what it is ment to do remove any fastener from wood. While on a construction site I think the Nail Jack model would be better but for any wood working and or remodeling this tool is a MUST once you use it you will wonder how you ever managed with out it. I am going to buy 2 more as presents to family members for X-mas presents. Ya it's that good!

I am returning this tool. It is much too large. Yyou think that it can dig down into delicate wood to remove smaller nails. Not so. I needed a tool to repair wood storm windows. It tears a large hole in the wood with the oversize jaws. I had to discontinue its use. I think if it was proportionally about 4" smaller with thinner, narrower and slightly longer jaws it would do the trick.

This tool does have the ability to dig out nails, but only if they are at the surface. I could not dig out a nail that was recessed the way my nail gun normally recesses nails no matter how much I was willing to damage the board trying.
